Grand Canyon by train and more

Adorable!

Yesterday gorgeous weather when we boarded the train to the Grand Canyon from Williams Arizona. It gave the men a bit of rest from driving and we were entertained by some singers and a cowboys attack. The kids on the train were thrilled. When they saw the bandits riding along one of the kid screamed: "hide your wallets!". Super cute!

Difficult to pick among all the pictures taken.
Tres impressionant. We started down a trail to get a feeling of the hiking down below. Impressive!
Nancy a prefere rester en securite. Nancy preferred staying at the top.
Les mules reviennent de 2 jours de ballade. Trop bien! A group of mules are climbing back from a two day hike.

Priorite aux animaux. On se gare. As the mules go by, hikers need to stay out of the way and stop.

Hopi House, designed and built by Mary Colter, (one of the first woman architect in the US). This is a center dedicated to sale and display Native American art and culture. It was built with local materials as well as old Western Union telegraph poles and railways rails. All of Mary Colter's constructions are built to melt and fit in the natural settings.

Watch out the bandits are coming, hidden in the bushes!

A great day we had. Lots of memories made. Une tres belle journee. D'excellents souvenirs!

Next a walk through Williams and Route 66 before we head to Tucson. What a beautiful trip so far!
